Princess, and Disney’ princess costumes are perfect to wear to any fancy dress party. Popular Disney princesses are Ariel, Belle, Snow White, Cinderella or Tinkerbell.
Snow White – This animated Disney film is a classic, and the Snow White costume is gorgeous. The dress has a soft velvet bodice and a long yellow skirt. Wear a black Snow White wig with red ribbon to finish off the outfit. The wig is sometimes included with the outfit, or you can buy one separately.
Princess Fiona – This is a great costume for anyone who loved the film, Shrek. There’s a choice of outfits, including regular and quality costumes. The Princess Fiona costume includes a long blue dress, and a matching tiara with ogre ears. Ask your partner to dress in the Shrek costume for a perfect couple’s fancy dress combination. His outfit includes the Shrek ogre costume and mask. If he hasn’t got a big enough belly to pad it out, buy a belly stuffer to go under the tunic.
Children have a choice of Shrek or Shrek 3 Princess Fiona costumes.
Belle – Belle is the princess from Beauty and the Beast. It’s a beautiful costume for either children or adults. The satin yellow dress comes with matching gloves and a tiara. Wear yellow satin shoes to finish this off and carry a matching bag.
Tinkerbell –One of the really popular costumes for this year is Tinkerbell. The official Tinkerbell costume includes a green metallic dress and Fairy wings, but you could dress in any woodland Fairy outfit to create a fairy princess look. There’s a good choice of fairy outfits and wings online. Carry a fairy wand and a pouch to hold your fairy dust.
Official Disney costumes are beautifully made and can be worn again and again. You can find them in online stores and some high street shops. If you can’t find a Disney Princess costume to suit you, have a look at regular princess costumes. There are lots of outfits and Accessories to choose from, and many come in adult and children’s sizes.
