An idyllic setting, playful plot and great music. It was a recipe of success.
The film regenerated the 70s craze for Lycra, sparkles and platform shoes. A succession of 70s fancy dress parties and evenings were hosted in local pubs and clubs. 70s fancy dress outfits ranged from plain cotton dungarees to vivid blue and silver Lycra hugging pant suits.
