Halloween Costumes For 2011 Spooky Fancy Dress Parties
It’s October, so you won’t be surprised if I talk about Halloween costumes.
Halloween Vampire, Zzzombies!, Witch, Ghost
With not too much time left we are busy deciding what our theme will be for this year’s party. Do we go for traditional scary fancy dress or maybe something whacky or sexy? We are looking forward to a night of spine tingling fun and deciding what to wear is a good place to start.
Zombies
I am sure you are frantically making your preparations for the big night and organising lots of lovely fancy dress parties and ghoulish goings on. One of our favourite is an outdoor theme. Gardens decorated with cobwebs and hidden ghosties may shock the neighbours so watch where you place your surprises. My cousin once dressed up the ironing board in a zombie outfit and placed it just behind the lounge door. It wasn’t pleasant and I didn’t speak to him for a month.
Michael Jackson Thriller
We’ve been asked for ideas for Michael Jackson’s Thriller zombies, so after a review of the site we thought you would appreciate an update to the Michael Jackson group page. We’ve added some grossly gruesome outfits so you can build your Thriller group and see how scary you’ll look. Don’t forget to visit the Accessories to order the fake blood and dismembered limbs. You can never have too many hands lying about and you know what they say ‘Many hands make light work’
Fallen Angels and Bad Fairies
Not too happy with all the blood and guts? Try something magical. Fallen angels, wicked Witches and sinister Fairies will steer you clear from the blood lusting characters. Not a bad choice if you have tender hearted kids in the group - we don’t want to give them too many nightmares do we?
Boutique Burlesque
The sexy side of Halloween hasn’t gone unnoticed and sexy devils, Witches and Fairies from the Fever range will tempt even the most hardened heart. The Boutique Baroque costume is splendid in red and black with silky sleeves and overskirt. The corset is set off with an under dress, overskirt and you can titillate the senses with a sexy Fantasy Mask. Why should the Venetians have all the fun?
Vampire Dracula and Sexy Vamp
If you’ve turned on the telly recently you will have noticed an abundance of Vampire TV series. They give us endless possibilities for fancy dress. Fangs and fake blood are a must to finish off the outfits. Check out the Dracula and Sexy Vamp costume for a perfect couple combination, or add a couple more lady vampires to create a coven.
Gothic Count and Graveyard Bones
The Gothic Count looks a bit a bit like my Uncle Peter, oops sorry Uncle - didn’t really mean it. But it does remind me of an uncle from an old TV series somewhere. I wouldn’t like to meet him on a dark night. Maybe the Gothic Manor Graveyard Bones chappie saw him first.
With such a gorgeously gruesome collection of Halloween costumes we know we’ve made it difficult for you to choose, but that’s our job and we love it.
