If you’re going to a fancy dress party, it can be great fun to dress up in costumes on the same theme. Fairy costumes, Spiderman and Pirate costumes are all favourites with both children and adults, or try Star Wars, Ghostbusters, or the Scooby Doo team outfits.
Ghostbusters – The all in one Ghostbusters jumpsuits are perfect for men and women. They make excellent couple’s costumes, and are perfect for a group theme. You can all wear Ghostbuster costumes, or get someone to dress up as Mallow Man. All these outfits are good for 80’s fancy dress parties as well as Halloween costumes.
Adult Mallow man costume – We love this. It looks like it’s made from white foam and covers you from top to bottom. The body has a blue sailor collar and red tie. The mask has the angry Mallow Man face, and the suit is topped by a sailor hat.
Men’s Ghostbuster costume –This is a beige jumpsuit with the Ghostbuster logo. It comes with an inflatable back pack to neutralise the ghosts.
Women’s Ghostbuster costume – Women can wear the same boiler suit as the men, or choose a sexy Ghostbuster outfit. It’s a short legged jumpsuit with a low-cut lacy neckline. Top it off with the hat.
Child’s Ghostbuster costume – This is gorgeous. It’s a beige jumpsuit with an inflatable proton pack. It’s got the familiar logos on the sleeve and body – everyone will know who you are.
Scooby Doo - Daphne, Scooby Doo, Shaggy and Fred are perfect costumes for a group of four to wear at a regular fancy dress party, an 80’s fancy dress, a TV movie theme party or Halloween party.
Daphne – This includes a purple dress and a bright orange wig that comes with a hair band. This is finished off with a pair of boot covers.
Fred – Fred’s costume is a pair of blue flares, white shirt and bright yellow wig. If you wanted to put this costume together yourself, it would be easy. Wear a pair of dark coloured trousers, a white shirt and a bright scarf. If you’re making a home made costume, it’s worth buying the wig to finish this off.
Scooby Doo – This is a fleece jumpsuit and has the Scooby Doo head piece. This is a must costume for couples and groups, if you’re going as a Scooby Doo themed group.
Shaggy – You can go for the official Shaggy outfit, or put together a pair of brown trousers, green top and paint a goatee beard on with face make-up. Don’t forget the Shaggy walk.
Star Wars costume
Get a group of Star Wars characters together for your fancy dress evening – include Princess Leia for the girls and Anakin Skywalker for the boys. Lot’s of the movie’s costumes come in both adult and children’s versions; so it’s perfect if you’ve a wide range of ages in your party.
Jedi Knight - Everyone loves a Jedi Knight, so they’ll instantly know who you are. The Jedi Knight costume for the boys is simple – just wear your own trousers and top, and wear the Jedi Knight robe over the top. Carry a light saber and wear a Jedi Braid. The hair braid finishes off the outfit perfectly, it’s a plaited braid and attaches to your hair with a clip.
Princess Leia – This is the classic costume and includes the white robe and bun wig. Or you can go for a sexy version, which has a white tight fitting robe with splits. There’s a good range of children’s Leia costumes, including the robe, wig and belt that start from age three.
