Once you know who or what you are going to the fancy dress party as you can make, buy or put together your fancy dress outfit from various places. But if your fancy dress costume calls for a wig then you must buy one. If you’re going to be one of the Beatles then a Beatle hair style is an absolute must. If you are going as a Caveman then you’ll look amazing with the long matted hair of the caveman. An Elvis fancy dress outfit is incomplete without an Elvis wig. And who could be Marilyn Monroe without a Marilyn wig? The iconic blonde hair and beauty spot complete any Marilyn fancy dress outfit.
Maybe you wouldn’t automatically think of wearing a wig for your costume. But with a little planning a wig can turn your outfit into something special. If you’re dressing as a Fairy maybe you might not think of your hair until the night of the party. Traditionally we imagine Fairies to have long and flowing hair of all colours so it would be an excellent opportunity to wear a long flowing wig in any colour you choose.

Unless you have raven black hair at just the right length, a Snow White hairdo would be fairly hard to copy and an authentic Disney fancy dress deserves the finishing touches!
