There’s an even bigger choice of kid’s Halloween costumes for 2009. So, if you or your child can’t decide on a fancy dress costume, have a look at some of the most popular outfits. Fairy, pirate, Batman and Witch costumes are top of the list.
Fairy costume - All girls love to dress up in Fairy costumes. Dresses come in all colours, so she’ll find something to suit her. Tinkerbell is a popular theme and, with the launch of new films and series, there is always something new to choose from. For a back to nature theme, try a woodland Fairy costume. It’s an easy to wear outfit and she’ll love the costume and fairy wings. Halloween is an outdoors holiday so a forest or woodland themed costume is perfect.
Pirate costume – This will suit both the boys and the girls. There’s a good choice of outfits including, Captain Jack Sparrow, Captain Hook and ghostly pirate outfits, or a Pirate Queen and Caribbean pirate costume for the girls. If they don’t want a Disney or a character pirate costume, you’ll find a host of regular Pirate Costumes to choose from that will suit both boys and girls. If they aren’t included, hooks, eye patches, pistols and cutlasses can all be bought as extras.
Batman costume – This one’s mainly for the boys, but the girls do get a choice of a girly, pink batgirl costume or a regular black and grey batgirl outfit. The boys can choose from a selection of Batman and Robin costumes, a quality Batman Dark Knight costume or the villainous Joker outfit. So, he can choose to be a hero or a villain.
Witch costume – This is a top girls’ Halloween costume. There are so many styles of Witch costumes to choose from, she’ll be spoiled for choice. She can dress as a fairy witch, a bat witch, a ballerina witch or a mystery witch. So pick your favourite toddler costume or let the older girls pick their own. The pointed hats come in colours to march the costumes and she can carry a broomstick to finish the outfit.
Popular costumes sell out quickly on the run up to Halloween, so choose her outfit early and put the order in.
