If you are planning to attend your next fancy dress party event dressed in Army gear you will need to shop around and look at the options that there are available. Army fancy dress costumes are a great option for both men and women and even children. Not many people host fancy dress parties where the theme is Army based but you can go as an army person for many different themes. Some people do not specify a theme for their party apart from stating it is fancy dress and so you the option of army gear here and also if the theme is movie based as there are many characters from army films that you can dress up as in the army uniform.
Here is a look at some ways of how you can go about making your own army costume for your next fancy dress party.
Mens Army Costumes
There are a few different options for dressing as an army man including an army cadet, a German soldier costume, an officer, a confederate general and so on. To go dressed as an officer can be quite easy as you can simply wear white trousers, black dress shoes, a white shirt, black tie, and a black jacket. The key to this costume is to place medals and buttons on the jacket as officers do and maybe purchase or hire a white officer hat. You could even wear white gloves to finish off the look.
Ladies Army Costumes
The great thing about being as girl is that you can either wear the males version of the army costume or you can spice it up a little and go as the female version. You do not necessarily have to have your own army cadet uniform, you can improvise a little, but to finish off the look it may be a good idea if you can to get hold of an army styled hat or tank top or scarf for example. Simply wear some combat pants, or shorts, a green or black top, a gun, and dog tags. You can really finish off the look by wearing make up as camouflage.
