Adshires Fancy Dress offers a 100% guarantee on items bought from our website. We abide by the Distance Selling Act. If you are in any way unhappy with the goods you have ordered, we will exchange them or give you a full refund for them. This is only applicable where you return them to us in their original condition and packaging, they must be unworn and unwashed, with all labels intact.
When our Returns department receives the returned items they will be checked for any signs of wear. The items may be chemically tested to detect body odour, deodorant and perfume. If there is any evidence that the item has been worn or for any reason it is not in a resalable condition we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item.
Once your goods have been received we will process your request for either a refund or replacement. Please allow up to 7 to 21 days from receipt of your return for this to be done.
Because of hygiene reasons certain products are excluded from our general returns policy - these are all hosiery, bodystockings, individual bottoms, Teeth, facial hair, tights, wigs, underwear and makeup. These items cannot be returned.
Please note that Sale items can only be exchanged or we can offer a credit note which is valid for 6 months.
How to return an item
You must contact us within 7 days of receiving your item/s by emailing fancydressreturns@Adshires.co.uk to confirm the item you are returning to us.
When you contact us you must quote your "Order Reference" number which can be found on your packing slip. You must state the reason for the return; we will give you a unique return code, which must accompany the returned item, to help us identify your package when it is received by us. Also a copy of your invoice or packing slip must be included within your return for us to identify where the parcel came from, this will help and stop any delay in refunding or exchanging your item.
Please make sure items are carefully packed and returned in the original packaging. If items are not returned in a resalable condition we reserve the right to refuse a refund, or may only be able to offer a partial refund of up to 50% of the price of the product.
We cannot be held responsible for any returned parcels being lost or damaged in transit to us. We would suggest all returns be sent by recorded delivery and postage would need to be paid for by you.
Return of Faulty Goods
If on receiving the goods you believe them to be faulty, you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the goods via email to fancydressfaultygoods@adshires.co.uk. Please note, that we can only accept returns of faulty goods within 28 days of receipt.
You should return the item to us together with a note and your invoice, explaining what you believe is the problem and stating the original order number. Once we have received the item we will carry out a full investigation following which we will contact you to agree the most appropriate resolution.
We have very strict dispatch procedures where all items are checked, photographed and catalogued prior to dispatch. We reserved the right to produce this evidence in the event of any dispute as to the cause of the fault. We will not accept any liability for faulty items once the item has been worn by you.
Returns period
Items must be returned to us within 7 days of purchase. Please note that these dates are strictly adhered to, so please allow sufficient time for your goods to reach us and we strongly recommend you return items via recorded delivery. Any goods received outside the return period will not be refunded and can be posted back to you at your own cost.
Once we have received your goods we will then process your request for either a refund or replacement. Please allow up to 7 days from receipt of your return for this to be done. In busier periods such as Halloween, Christmas and Valentines this can be up to 21 days.

FAILED DELIVERY : Items returned to us via our courier due to failure of the customer to be available / customer did not collect / wrong address will be incur a return courier charge as we have to pay for items that come back to us if the customer does not collect it or fails to sign for it after several attempts at delivery.
Please note that if you placed an order where we have had to purchase additional stock or if buying in multiples we cannot refund the items unless they are faulty.
Shipping costs: We do not refund shipping costs unless the fault lies with ourselves ie wrong item sent or faulty item.
Refunds will only be made to the card that was used in the original purchase . A 12% restocking fee will be applied unless the fault lies with us.
Special conditions for specific items:
Please ensure that items are tried on over your own underwear. We reserve the right to refuse returns of items where it is apparent that this has not been done.
